The building of the Strumochok kindergarten, damaged by enemy fire, will be repaired in Lymany village of Halytsynivska territorial community, Mykolaiv region.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, writes NikVesti.

The Department of Town Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Support of Development Projects of the Mykolaiv Oblast announced a tender for the overhaul of the kindergarten. The announced cost of the works is 3.5 million hryvnias.

The contractor will have until December 31, 2024 to carry out demolition work, repair the roof, install wall partitions, equip the floor, install doors, and perform internal and external finishing works.

As a reminder, the villages of Lymany and Lupareve near Mykolaiv have been under constant fire from Russian troops since mid-March 2022. In July, the occupiers shelled the village of Lymany with cluster munitions. At that time, the kindergarten and the community administration building were damaged, as well as the fire engine of the local territorial community was destroyed. In April, NikVesti spoke with local residents who talked about their life during the war. The shelling of the village stopped only after the deoccupation of Kherson.

In March 2023, the villages of Lymany already began to restore the building of the village council, which was destroyed by a Russian projectile in April last year.
