The morning attack on February 7 cost Russia at least $423 million.
Such a calculation was made by the journalists of Economic Truth.
According to the information of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, at the beginning of the day of February 7, the enemy released over Ukraine:
- 20 attack UAVs of the «Shahed-136/131» type;
- 29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 10 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft;
- 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers;
- 3 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles from carriers in the Black Sea;
- 3 «Iskander-M» ballistic missiles;
- 5 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
The Shahed-136/131 UAV can cost from $49,000, if we talk about the Russian Federation's own production. If we are talking about imports from Iran, then the cost can be up to 290 thousand dollars. In their calculations, the journalists relied on the average price planned for imports from Iran — 193,000 dollars. So, 20 attack UAVs cost the Russian Federation approx 3.9 million dollars.
The cost of the Kh-22 missile is estimated at 1 million dollars, that is, the total amount for the released missiles is 4 million.
The Kh-101 missile costs 13 million dollars per unit, the total amount of released missiles of this type is 377 million.
The minimum cost of the S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile is 2 million dollars, so the total cost of released missiles of this type is 10 million.
According to Defense Express, one Kalibr missile costs $6.5 million, making the total cost of the missile $19.5 million. Ballistic missile Iskander-M can cost 3 million dollars, the total cost of all released missiles of this type is 9 million.
By calculation, the total amount that Russia spent on the morning attack on February 7 in Ukraine is 423.4 million dollars.
