Residents of Mykolaiv, whose homes were completely destroyed as a result of the shelling, purchased 26 apartments and one private house under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
Such data as of February 20, 2024 were made public by the mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.
So far, the commission has issued 82 housing certificates for the total amount of 86.3 million hryvnias to compensate Mykolaiv residents for destroyed housing, he said.
«26 apartments and one private house worth 33.6 million hryvnias have already been purchased,» Oleksandr Sienkevych wrote.
The mayor also added that other families are gradually looking for housing and concluding agreements.

«eVidnovlennia» in Mykolaiv Oblast
Mykolaiv Oblast became one of the leading regions, where the most applications were submitted under the «eVidnovlennia» program. However, as of June 2023, the region has the lowest rates of consideration of these applications. Therefore, the Ministry of Reconstruction called on the Mykolaiv commissions to speed up their processing: «This depends on the ability of the owners to receive assistance in the shortest possible time for the restoration of housing before the autumn and winter cold.»
Subsequently, in January 2024, Mykolaiv Oblast became one of the five regions that are leaders in terms of the number of compensations received for damaged property under the «eVidnovlennia» program, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine reported.
Work is currently underway to pay out funds for damaged housing as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP in the affected communities — Snigurivka and Horokhove. However, it is not yet known how many people received the money and what the amount is.
A total of 30 commissions for the restoration of housing damaged during a full-scale invasion are already working in the region under the «eRecovery» program.
