About 40% of the objects damaged by shelling in the Pervomaisk community of the Mykolaiv region have already been restored. People's deputy Ihor Kopytin announced this on his Facebook page.
During the first 8 months of the full-scale invasion, the settlements of the territorial community were actually in the line of fire. In total, more than 3,400 objects were destroyed.
«However, people are gradually returning to their broken homes, shops, pharmacies, schools, kindergartens, and libraries are opening. And together with the people, life returns to the villages. Almost 900 households have received compensation under the state program «eVidnovlennia». Invaluable help is provided by volunteers from Dobrobat units. Before the war, not all of these people knew how to lay slate, repair gables and perform other construction work. However, now they have learned this matter and only in the Pervomaisk territorial community have already completely repaired the roofs of more than 60 houses,» wrote Ihor Kopytin.
But not everything is subject to restoration. Since the beginning of this year, two Culture Houses and two schools had to be dismantled in the community. About 20 more residential buildings in the villages of Blahodatne and Partyzanske will be demolished to the foundations and new ones will be built.
