Ihor Kopytin

Ihor Volodymyrovych Kopytin (born February 12, 1981, Legnica, Poland) is a Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician. Since 2019, he has served as a Member of the 9th Convocation of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) representing the "Servant of the People" party. In the Verkhovna Rada, he chairs the Subcommittee on Defense Industry and Technical Modernization within the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence.

He graduated from Odesa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov with a degree in Law. Prior to his political career, he was involved in entrepreneurship, focusing on the sale and maintenance of aviation equipment, and led several IT startups.

In August 2024, Ihor Kopytin was involved in a traffic accident in Kyiv Oblast, resulting in serious injuries and subsequent hospitalization.
