A video appeared on the Internet in which the Russians show the severed head of an alleged Ukrainian soldier, the Ukrainian ombudsman appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN.

This was announced by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

«I appealed to the UN and the ICRC regarding another act of violation of international humanitarian law by the Russian side. I also note that the enemy uses such videos to intimidate and demoralize Ukrainians. However, this only strengthens our desire to bring everyone who commits such inhumane atrocities to inevitable responsibility,» the message reads.

It was previously reported that in the near future, the exchange of prisoners in the «all for all» format with Russia will not take place, despite the operation of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region and the replenishment of the exchange fund.
