The Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv wants to apply for reconstruction under the NORE state program of buildings damaged by shelling at the addresses: Aliaudy, 2 and Naberezhna, 25 (buildings 1 and 2).

Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of the department, said this in a comment to NikVesti.

We will remind that on August 14, at a meeting of the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council, a decision was made to dismantle the buildings.

Later, NikVesti found out that not all residents of the house in Aliaudy supported the decision of the executive committee. The DHCS noted that the final decision in this regard rests with the residents of the building.

Therefore, in case the owners of the apartments refuse to dismantle, the DHCS plans to submit the houses for restoration under the state program. Since, according to the experts who conducted the technical survey, the reconstruction of the houses is not economically justified and expensive, it cannot be done at the expense of the city budget at the moment.

«When we met with people, this information was not yet available. But now the appropriate working group is being prepared, which will communicate with the working group under the Ministry regarding the implementation, well, first of all, the submission of the relevant projects, and then the implementation of the relevant repair projects,» he says.

We will remind, in 2024, they plan to spend 45 million hryvnias from the budget of Mykolaiv for the restoration of damaged or destroyed apartment buildings. In 2023, 40 million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for the restoration of damaged high-rise buildings.

The first high-rise building damaged by shelling in Mykolaiv began to be restored at the expense of the city budget in July 2023. We are talking about a house on Krylov, which was hit by a Russian missile in the summer of 2022.

Subsequently, the Department of Housing and Communal Services announced a tender for the restoration of a five-story building in the center of Mykolaiv, which was destroyed by a Russian missile in the fall of 2022.

At the same time, the city council supported the allocation of funds from the budget of Mykolaiv for the technical inspection of private houses affected by the war.
