At a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, a decision was made to strengthen the Pokrovsk direction.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to him, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces reported on the defense of the city.

«There was a report by the Head of the Committee Oleksandr Syrskyi on the operational situation, in particular the defense of Pokrovsk. A decision was made to further strengthen the direction,» the head of state said.

Earlier it was reported that in the Donetsk region of the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, the pace of evacuation has increased — 500-600 people leave every day.
