An employee of one of Ochakiv's enterprises, who is suspected of cooperation with the special services of the Russian Federation, considers informational work against the enemy his duty.
He told about this in the documentary tape published on the YouTube channel «Nastoiashchee Vremia. Dok».
The man was born in the village of Shkotovo in the Primorskyi Krai of Russia in the family of a military man. After studying at school, he entered the military school, and later moved to the Mykolayiv region, where he served for the last 14 years.
«If I had known what it would all lead to, I would have spat and gone to Russia. I refused the position of colonel in the Crimea four times because I still have a home in Ochakiv. Wherever I move, I would like my family to be with me. They didn't give me housing, and I have two children, to take them to an unknown place...», the suspect said.
While studying in Russia, the man was recruited, and after moving to Ukraine, he lived with the status of a «sleeper agent» while waiting for an order, says the spokesman of the Security Service of Ukraine, Artem Dikhtiarenko.

Dok»From the beginning of the invasion, the order came from the Russian curators, and the man began to carry out assignments, in particular, to collect information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, he also transmitted data about the company where he worked.
«I knew that sooner or later I would be closed. But I had to fulfill my duty. If I had even a chance in a million, I would do it,» said the man.
From the interview, it became known that the man's son is serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces. He called his son's pro-Ukrainian position his own mistake in his upbringing.
«What didn't stop you from cooperating with the Russians was that it could have killed your son?» the journalist asked.
«It could have killed me too. How many arrivals were there in Mykolaiv,» the suspect answered.
«This is your son.»
«He is a military man.»
«This is a glorification of war, and he is your son.»
«Son... I raised him to be good, decent, erudite, intellectual. But, unfortunately, an error occurred.»
