84% of educational institutions have already been damaged and destroyed by shelling on the right bank of the Kherson region

As a result of hostilities on the right bank of the Kherson region, more than 300 educational institutions were damaged or completely destroyed.

Such statistics were voiced by the head of Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, in a video on his Telegram channel.

According to him, out of 425 educational institutions, 68 were completely destroyed, and 289 were significantly damaged.

«We are working on restoration, but the scale of the destruction is colossal. Out of 425 educational institutions on the Right Bank of Kherson Oblast, 68 were completely destroyed, and another 289 were damaged. Therefore, current repairs have already been carried out in 13 educational institutions that had minor damage,» said Oleksandr Prokudin.

He also noted that the region is currently working on the restoration of 11 more educational institutions in five communities — 8 schools and 3 kindergartens.
