The so-called governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, said that the Kherson region has apparently already started replenishing its own budget, and in the future «will become self-sufficient and become less dependent on the federal budget.»

This is stated on the website of the occupation administration of the Kherson region.

According to Volodymyr Saldo, the Kherson region is allegedly increasing revenues, but «full financial independence is still far away.»

«It is still too early to talk about the fact that we will be completely self-financed, but the percentage of the revenue part of the Kherson region is increasing more and more,» he said.

We will remind that Volodymyr Saldo, appointed by the Russian occupiers as the «governor» of the Kherson region, was informed of the suspicion of stealing almost 3,000 tons of Ukrainian grain.

It should be noted that since 2022, Russia and its partners have sold grain stolen from the occupied territories of Ukraine worth almost a billion dollars.
