As of October 21, pyrotechnic units destroyed 26,000 munitions on the territory of the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations in the Mykolaiv region.

In total, 8,504 hectares have been searched for explosives since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

It is also noted that 11,880 pyrotechnicians have been involved in demining the Mykolaiv region.

«A significant amount of ammunition remains in unexplored territory. So, if you find them, call 101 and 102,» the message added.

We will remind you that on October 18, cluster ammunition was found in the forest park of Mykolaiv, which had been lying there for several years. It was discovered during humanitarian demining. Rescuers urge to be careful and immediately report such finds.
