In Mykolaiv, residents of a two-storey building at 238-A Pohranychna Street complained about a problem with heating. Water was drained from the system on Friday due to a leak.

According to readers of NikVesti, on Friday, representatives of the management company «City for People» announced a break in the building's internal networks and drained the water from the heating system. No repair work was carried out over the weekend.

«On Friday, they came and said that there was a water leak somewhere in the building and the pressure was dropping. They checked everything, then shut down the system. The City for People emergency service arrived and drained all the water from the heating system. I thought they would start repairs on Monday morning, but no one came. When I called the head office, they didn't even know that the water had been drained,» said a resident.

Mykolaivoblteploenergo told NikVesti that there was no break in the external heating networks. According to the company, their employees shut down the building due to an accident on the internal networks, which are maintained by the management company.

«The MDL building (City for People, — note) is aware of the accident and is working to fix it today. They said they would finish the work by 12:00,» said Mykola Lohvinov, head of the regional heating company.

In a comment, representatives of the City for People company noted that specialists are already working on site and determining the point of leakage. The situation is complicated by the fact that the communications in the building run under the floors of the flats.

«In the building, the pipes run under the floors of the residents' flats, where the leak is located. We are looking for access to all flats and working with heating engineers to find where the leak might be. It is difficult because not everyone wants to tear up the floor, and it (the leak, — note) is invisible,» the company said.

As of 12:00, emergency work in the building was completed and heat supply was restored.

Earlier it was reported that in Mykolaiv, in the Riviera residential complex, ice had formed on the windows of apartments due to the lack of heating.
