Andrii Vetsalo, director of the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivkomuntrans», has published his declaration for 2025. According to the document, he received 1.7 million hryvnias in salary last year.
This is evidenced by the data in his declaration, published in the NACP register.
Andrii Vetsalo’s salary in 2025 amounted to 1,763,586 hryvnias. By way of comparison, in his 2024 declaration , the official stated a salary of 1,418,729 hryvnias. Thus, his income increased by approximately 24.3% over the year.
The average monthly salary of the director of a municipal enterprise in 2025 was around 147,000 hryvnias, whereas in 2024 it was around 118,000 hryvnias.
In addition to his basic salary, in his 2025 declaration, Vetsalo declared 9,800 hryvnias for a health resort voucher received from the enterprise’s trade union, as well as 2,100 hryvnias in bank cashback and bonuses.
The official’s mother, Halyna Vetsalo, declared 314,600 hryvnias in salary from the Mykolaiv City Council’s Education Department and 107,300 hryvnias in pension payments in 2025.
The official declared 117,100 hryvnias in bank accounts. No financial assets were listed in the 2024 declaration.
As for property, there have been no changes compared to the previous year. Andrii Vetsalo still owns a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, purchased in 2021 for 1,142,800 hryvnias. His mother’s car is also listed — a 2006 Citroën C4; the value of the car is not specified.
The declaration also lists two flats: one, measuring 54.5 square metres, is jointly owned with his mother; the other, measuring 70.4 square metres, is jointly owned by his wife and other co-owners. The official’s mother owns a plot of land measuring 400 m².
It should be noted that the district administrations in Mykolaiv have had their powers regarding the clearance of unauthorised rubbish dumps revoked . This task will now be handled by two contractors — the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivkomuntrans» and the municipal enterprise «Obrii-DKP».
We would also like to remind you that at the session on 26 March, members of the Mykolaiv City Council were unable to approve the updated operating procedures for the household waste sorting complex — there were not enough votes to pass the decision.
Prior to this, the tender procedure had been revised to take into account the working group’s recommendations. It was endorsed by members of the executive committee at a meeting on 25 March.
Earlier, Ihor Nabatov told NikVesti that the terms of the contract had changed slightly. It will now last for no more than 15 years, but with the option to extend it for a further 10 years upon expiry.
