In Mykolaiv, the driver of a bus plying route №82 had his radio taken away for listening to Russian music.

This was reported to NikVesti by the organization «Pryvatavtoliuks», which is engaged in the transportation of passengers on this route.

It will be recalled that the passengers complained that the man plays Russian artists, and reacts to comments with abuse. The people of Mykolaiv consider this behavior of the driver to be an insult to the memory of the dead Ukrainians. According to the passengers, the driver replied that «he has no war» when asked about the third year of full-scale war.

The company noted that this is the third complaint against the driver of the vehicle. Previously, conversations were held with the husband, but it did not work.

«Yesterday, after we received a complaint, we took away the tape recorder from the driver, so now he drives without a tape recorder at all. This is already the third complaint against him, before we just talked, warned, he said that he will no longer play Russian music. But it didn't work, that's why we took away the tape recorder and he drives without music at all,» said the director of «Pryvatautoliuks» Artur Syzonenko.

He also explained that if possible, the organization would fire the man, but at the moment they cannot, due to the lack of public transport along the specified route.

«We could fire him, but route 82 is very important for our citizens, and there is so little traffic there. If we were to change the driver, we would also lose the vehicle, because it is his personal vehicle,» said Artur Syzonenko.

It should be noted that on October 7, 2022, Law №2310-IX came into force, which provides for restrictions on the playback of music and films in public transport. This also applies to taxis. Drivers can turn on music only if the passenger does not object.

We will remind you that a similar situation arose in Mykolaiv in March of last year. Then, after a complaint about chanson and other Russian-language music playing in minibus №21, the driver was also forced to remove the radio from the cabin.
