At the beginning of June, 45 children from the Mykolaiv region, who belong to preferential categories, went on a two-week vacation to Transcarpathia.
This was announced by the mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych.
«Forty-five small Mykolaiv residents of preferential categories went on a two-week vacation to Transcarpathia! The children have already arrived, settled down and an active cultural program awaits them during these days,» Oleksandr Sienkevych wrote.
The mayor noted that recreation is paid for from the community budget. In total, 515 children are planned to be rehabilitated this year.
«I'm glad that despite the full-scale invasion, we are able to heal the children! It's another way to recharge and take a break from the constant sirens,» he added.
We will remind you that previously the head of the children's service of the Mykolaiv City Council, Yuliia Kravchenko, said in a comment to NikVesti that the program is designed exclusively for children from Mykolaiv, as well as those children who are registered in the city as an internally displaced person. Yuliia Kravchenko also told which categories of the population can go on such a vacation.
