Zelenskyy said that the Russian Federation destroyed the Trypilska TPP because there were no missiles left in Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russians managed to destroy the Trypilska TPP, because Ukraine had completely run out of missiles for its defense against the background of a lack of help from allies.

He said this in an interview with PBS.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the joint defense of Israel by the allies who repelled the Iranian attack last weekend. According to the president, Israel would not be able to defend itself against such a massive strike from the Iranian side.

«A lot of things that Ukraine lacks were involved. This is really a demonstration of what allies are like not on paper, but in the sky, the president said, adding that Ukraine defends the sky independently».

He emphasized that the allies give Ukraine one or another equipment, but «we have a shortage of it».

«I will give you one example, a very simple one — at the Trypilska plant. And the light in the Kyiv region depends on it. 11 rockets flew, we destroyed the first seven, and four destroyed Tripillia. Why? Because there were zero missiles. We have run out of all the missiles that were protecting Tripillia,» the president said.

It will be recalled that Josep Borrell called on the countries of the European Union to urgently transfer ammunition to Ukraine. Due to their lack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing difficulties at the front.

The head of the «Servant of the People» faction, Davyd Arakhamiia, said that Ukraine will have to carry out additional mobilization in the event of a lack of aid from the United States or its reduction.
