In Mykolaiv, residents of a dormitory at 2-A Lystopadovyi Lane, who have been without heating since the beginning of the heating season, have been connected to heating.

Mykola Lohvinov, director of the utility company Mykolaivoblteploenergo, told NikVesti.

In early December, residents of the dormitory contacted NikVesti and told us about their problem: the building had been without heating for almost a month due to a break in the heating main leading to the building. The network had not been handed over to the city or the housing office, so no one could repair it for a long time.

Then Mykola Lohvinov explained to us that there were two ways to solve the problem: either to sign a contract with «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» and pay for the work, or to transfer the heating network to the city's balance sheet through the municipal property department.

«Yes, they did provide heating. They wrote a letter guaranteeing payment for the work performed. So we turned on the heating the next day. We have not yet issued an invoice — we have completed the work, then we will sign a contract, issue an invoice, and they will pay it. The problem was solved in a day. Everyone has the same problems — the heating mains are old and need to be repaired and maintained. Everything is standard,» explained Mykola Lohvinov.

In turn, Diana Savchuk, head of the state-owned enterprise «Zhylstroi», which maintains the building, said that the heating was switched on on 4 December.

«On 4 December, in the evening, we got heating. The plumber worked until night to clean the risers. I have not yet received an invoice for the work performed — I have prepared a letter of guarantee,» said Diana Savchuk.
