The municipal enterprise Mykolaivoblteploenerho plans to modernize its fleet by purchasing five new cars for leasing for the amount of 5.9 million hryvnias.

The corresponding tender was published on the public procurement system Prozorro, writes NikVesti.

«Mykolaivoblteploenerho» plans to purchase new white cars of the «Renault Express» brand of 2023-2024. Among the mandatory requirements are adaptation to bad roads, the presence of airbags for the driver and passenger, as well as a three-year warranty.

The leasing agreement provides for a first payment in the amount of 20% of the contract amount, and the crediting period is 24 months.

In a comment to NikVesti, the director of KP Mykolaivoblteploenerho Mykola Lohvinov explained that new cars are necessary for the creation of mobile teams of rapid response to emergency situations that arise in various microdistricts of the city. This will also lead to savings on fuel and repair work in cars, according to calculations, cars will pay for themselves within 4 years.

«We need to create mobile brigades that will respond as quickly as possible to emerging emergency situations. We have 79 water dispensing points, and we have only 1 car to service them, people physically cannot have time to be fast both in the Namyv microdistrict and in the Soliany microdistrict. Our townspeople are very talented, they also like to wash the machine from the water outlet, or break a button, and we must react as quickly as possible. Also, according to the law, we must respond to an emergency situation within 24 hours. We have calculated that in order to improve the quality of the services provided, there will also be savings on fuel and repair work. It is economically unprofitable to keep a Gazelle or some other old car, said Mykola Lohvinov.

We remind you that Mykolaiv became the only Ukrainian city that received new trolleybuses from international organizations last year. At the same time, Mykolaiv received 13 buses from international partners in 2023.

We previously wrote that Mykolaiv will receive 30 new trolleybuses with autonomous travel of up to 20 kilometers. They are planned to be purchased with funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
