As part of the 2025 tourism recovery programme, the Kherson City Military Administration has decided to allocate 160,000 hryvnias to create promotional materials to attract investors.
The relevant draft decision was published on the website of the Kherson RMA, according to NikVesti.
The funds will be used for the development, design and production of printing and souvenir products to increase Kherson's visibility among potential partners and investors. This is part of the city's strategy to rebuild the city after the destruction caused by the war.
«Since the beginning of Russian aggression in 2022, Kherson has suffered significant damage: hotels, restaurants, historic buildings and infrastructure have been destroyed. Tourism operators, as well as hotels and restaurants, have suspended their operations due to the fighting, the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and constant shelling. In addition, some areas remain mined, making it difficult to restore the tourism industry», the programme document states.
Once the situation in Kherson is stabilised, local authorities plan to resume economic activity, attract investment and promote tourism and other industries.
We would like to remind you that Kobleve in Mykolaiv region is planning to open some of its beaches by the summer of 2025. Entrepreneurs insist on resuming the tourist season following the example of Odesa.
