In January–February 2026, taxpayers in Mykolaiv region paid over ₴2.8 billion in single social security contributions.

This was reported by the regional office of the State Tax Service.

According to the tax authorities, this is 13.8% more than in the same period of 2025. Revenues increased by 341.6 million hryvnias.

The tax authorities also reminded that failure to pay the single contribution deprives employees of their insurance record. As a result, people may lose their right to old-age, disability and other social benefits provided for by law. Pensions are calculated only on the basis of official wages from which contributions have been paid.

Earlier it was reported that in January and February 2026, taxpayers in Mykolaiv region paid 2.6 billion hryvnias in personal income tax to the state and local budgets.
