Arakhamiia called on investors to invest in projects in the territory of industrial parks of Ukraine

Davyd Arakhamiia, head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, called on investors to consider the possibility of investing in projects on the territory of Ukraine's industrial parks.

Davyd Arakhamiia said this at the conference held in Tallinn, NikVesti writes.

According to him, Ukrainian industrial parks with their special tax regimes and infrastructure are an ideal place for investment in production projects.

There are 78 industrial parks in Ukraine, which occupy more than 2,500 hectares of industrial land. These parks provide investors with a number of advantages, such as special tax rates, the possibility of importing equipment without VAT, free connection to the electricity network and other privileges that contribute to the efficient conduct of business.

«We have 78 industrial parks. If you place your business in an industrial park, you have a special tax regime, you can import equipment without VAT. You can make a free connection to the electrical network and other things that cost a lot of money. We have many industrial parks as you can see on the map. It's a really big, really big area where you can find the terrain that you like best,» he said.

According to him, business development in industrial parks is beneficial both for investors and for the country as a whole. This creates new jobs, promotes economic growth and increases the competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy.

We will remind that the Ministry of Economy announced the active development of industrial parks, despite the armed aggression of Russia and military actions.

The press service of Deputy Minister of Economy Vitalii Kindrativ stated that approximately 11,000 jobs will be created in the new industrial parks. At the same time, as reported, an industrial park was recently liquidated in Mykolaiv: the «Energia» park was excluded from the official register due to the lack of work reports.

Location of the industrial park «Energia»

We will remind that Mykolaiv Industrial Park «Energia» was included in the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine in 2018. It was located in Korabelny district and occupied a plot of land with an area of 36 hectares.

The functional purpose of the industrial park was to create a modern production and industrial complex with a developed infrastructure, comfortable conditions for attracting strategic investors in the processing industry, as well as scientific research activities and in the field of information and telecommunications.

Earlier, it was reported that two more industrial parks will become operational in Ukraine — in the Rivne and Lviv regions.

The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych believes that the state should help create technological and industrial parks in the territories destroyed or damaged by the war in order to provide jobs and fill local budgets.

Secretary of the Mykolaiv City Council Dmytro Falko believes that the free economic zone will help open a «window of opportunity» for investors who will come to Mykolaiv and be ready to invest money in business.

At the same time, People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Pasichnyi believes that Mykolaiv needs to study the experience of creating industrial parks in order to attract investors and replenish the city budget in the future.
