Occupiers beheaded a Ukrainian defender in Donetsk region

Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin announced this.
«We received information that the Russian commanders ordered not to capture Ukrainian servicemen, but instead to kill them with inhuman cruelty — by beheading. The fact of the beheading of the Ukrainian defender was recorded in Donetsk region,» wrote Andrii Kostin.
He added that the order was given at the level of the leadership of the battalion and company of the occupying forces.
«The war crimes committed by the aggressor are not isolated incidents, but a planned strategy of the Russian regime,» the Prosecutor General emphasized.
They learned about the war crime during aerial reconnaissance at one of the combat positions in the Donetsk region.
«The Ukrainian military discovered a damaged armored vehicle of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. On it was the severed head of the Ukrainian defense attorney,» says the post of the Prosecutor General's Office in Telegram.
A pre-trial investigation was launched into this fact — it is being carried out by the State Security Service in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office. The article is a violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Investigators are checking the involvement of specific military personnel of the Russian Federation in the commission of this crime.
