Almost two thousand residents of Pervomaisk district are registered as unemployed

In the period from January to May 1953, people living in the Pervomaisk district, Mykolaiv Oblast, had the status of unemployed.
This was stated by the head of the Pervomaisk district Military Administration, Serhii Sakovskyi, during a briefing on June 4, NikVesti reports.
According to Serhii Sakovskyi, out of almost two thousand unemployed people in Pervomaisk district, 205 are internally displaced persons, another 19 people are participants in hostilities. 846 people received unemployment benefits, including 134 immigrants and 14 ex-servicemen.
Within five months, 292 people were able to find work, including 21 internally displaced persons and 5 veterans.
In October last year, it was reported that the Fund of mandatory state social insurance in case of unemployment increased the minimum amount of unemployment benefits from 1,000 hryvnias to 1,500 hryvnias. Refugees will receive 2,500 hryvnias.
