«They could not leave the city and had to remain under occupation. In September 2022, a daughter was born. The father of the family is a soldier of the Armed Forces, so the whole family was in danger. They hid every day to avoid persecution,» he said.

In addition, it was possible to evacuate a family from the south of Ukraine from the occupation, whose father joined the ranks of the Armed Forces, but was captured by the Russians.

«When the father was returned from captivity, the family again faced difficulties: the Russians did not release the mother and son from the TOT, they took them to interrogations. After numerous attempts, the family managed to reunite,» Yermak wrote.

Earlier, juvenile police officers together with volunteers of the Save Ukraine organization evacuated the family from Antonivka, one of the constantly shelled districts of the Kherson community.
