Spain has announced the allocation of €10 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
This was announced in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain.
On 28 January, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares visited Ukraine for the third time since the start of the full-scale war to assess the consequences of Russian aggression and reaffirm Spain's support. During the visit, he announced the allocation of another €10 million in humanitarian aid.
In addition, he inaugurated a cultural centre with the support of the Spanish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation Trust Fund and UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
«This centre complements Spain's comprehensive commitment to Ukraine's recovery, which is reflected in a new pledge of €10 million from the Spanish Humanitarian Aid Cooperation, which adds to the €100 million Spain has provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the war», the Spanish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
As a reminder, Ochakiv has received a shipment of humanitarian aid from Spain. Medical equipment and medicines were delivered to the town.
