The early delivery of the missiles became known during a visit to Kyiv by a British trade delegation led by Luke Pollard, Minister of State for Defence and Industry.

«It was an honour to lead this delegation to Kyiv and to see how many countries are joining this event. Developing industrial partnerships is essential so that we can learn from each other and together strengthen the industrial base needed to defend the UK, deter adversaries and support Ukraine», said Luke Pollard.

He also added that this year the UK has allocated £4.5 billion (about $6 billion) for military assistance to Ukraine, a record amount of British support.

As a reminder, the UK is contributing an additional €48.7 million to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine, bringing its total contribution to €150.6 million.
