Dmytro Plentechuk, the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that the work of the grain corridor remains stable, despite constant threats from the Russian Federation.

On the air of the Yedyni Novyny telethon, he emphasized that the situation is under control.

«The dynamics remain positive. We are working, the corridor is functioning and the shipment is taking place. The situation is not new for us [...] Our crews are doing everything possible for protection. However, given the means used by the enemy in the Black Sea, we need the support of our partners and colleagues from the Air Force,» he said.

We will remind, as of August 2024, 2,300 ships used the grain sea corridor during the year.
