The occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions remained without electricity

Occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions were left without electricity due to damage to the power line.

This was announced by the so-called regional governors Yevhen Balytskyi and Volodymyr Saldo.

Evgeny Balytsky reported that the power supply had disappeared «throughout the region». It means on the entire occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

According to the so-called governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, the accident occurred on the Dzhankoi — Melitopol line at 05:00. 137,000 people in 172 cities and towns of the occupied part of the Kherson Region were left without electricity.

He assures that the electricity supply has already been restored in two districts. The occupiers did not name the cause of the accident on the power line.

It should be noted that there are currently blackouts in Ukraine due to Russian shelling of the country's energy infrastructure.
