Russian army shells Kyiv: a pregnant woman is among the victims

On the morning of 1 January, Russians attacked Kyiv with attack drones. The shelling injured six people, including a pregnant woman.

According to Mayor Vitalii Klychko, the top two floors of a residential building in Pecherskyi district were partially destroyed. Residents are being evacuated.

According to him, the number of victims has increased to six, two people were hospitalised. Among the four residents who were treated by medics on the spot is a pregnant woman.

Later, it was reported that a woman was found dead in the Pecherskyi district while clearing the rubble of a residential building.

In addition, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the fall of drone debris was recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv.

It is noted that 6 cars, 2 garages were damaged in the area and a local fire broke out. There are also reports of damage to tram tracks 100 metres from the depot.

Also in the Sviatoshynskyi district, doctors helped a woman with an acute stress reaction, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

As a reminder, on the night of 1 January, air defence forces in Mykolaiv region destroyed two Shahed 131/136 drones.
