Russians strike at the centre of Izium: 4 dead, rescuers search for victims under rubble

On Tuesday, 4 February, Russian troops attacked the town of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Four people were killed, and there are also wounded.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Sinegubov.
According to preliminary data, the Russians used a ballistic missile. Rescuers, emergency medical services, and a dog training service are working at the scene of the attack in the central part of the city.
Administrative buildings in the city were partially destroyed, and a five-storey residential building was damaged. Four people have been reported dead. Another 20 people were injured, five of whom were hospitalised.
In addition, 1 more person is trapped under the rubble. The response is ongoing.
As a reminder, on 1 February, Russian troops struck Poltava, hitting a residential building. That killed 14 people.
