In Kherson, rescuers found the body of a woman while clearing the rubble of an apartment building destroyed by a Russian air strike.
According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the deceased was the mother of two 13-year-old children who were injured in the attack.
«After almost a day of work, rescuers managed to find the body of the last person missing as a result of a Russian air strike on a high-rise building in Kherson. This is the mother of twins who were wounded in the enemy attack. The State Emergency Service is currently trying to unblock the woman's body. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of the victim»,wrote Alexander Prokudin.
On the night of 20 February, the Russian army conducted an air strike on Kherson, hitting a ten-storey building in the Dniprovskyi district with a KAB. As a result, two children were injured — 13-year-old twins, a boy and a girl.
Later, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, reported two more victims of the night strike. A 60-year-old man suffered abrasions on his forehead, and a 36-year-old man suffered an acubarotrauma.
Later, rescuers found the body of the deceased man while clearing the rubble of an apartment building.
