Recent drone attacks on the territory of Russia led to the shutdown of three oil refineries of the aggressor country.
This is reported by Bloomberg.
It is noted that as a result of the strike on Wednesday, a fire broke out at one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the country — the Riazan plant of PJSC «Rosneft» near Moscow. The small Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the south of the Rostov region and the Norsi plant of PJSC Lukoil were also stopped due to a drone attack.
"The attacks emphasize that the invasion of Ukraine, which was supposed to last several days, instead leads to the growing insecurity of ordinary Russians living in the border regions. This is in stark contrast to the Kremlin's claims that Putin is the guarantor of the country's defense,» the publication says.
Bloomberg noted that the three facilities in Russia attacked by Ukrainian drones over the past two days «account for about 12% of Russia's oil refining capacity.»
The publication also notes that the strikes on oil industry facilities are aimed at «disrupting Russian exports and fuel supplies for the Russian army on the front line.»
As a reminder, the Myhiia village council in the Mykolaiv region announced a tender for the purchase of 35 FPV 10 drones.
Earlier, Oleksandr Sienkevych published the schedule of the city council with the financing of the military, on which almost 700 million hryvnias were spent. 17 new vehicles were purchased and handed over to the Armed Forces with city funds, another 89 pieces of equipment were handed over to parts from utility companies.
In particular, 400 million hryvnias were allocated from the city budget for the military in 2023, of which 200 million hryvnias went to purchase housing for military personnel serving in parts of the Mykolaiv garrison.
In addition, the Planning and Budget Commission of the Mykolaiv City Council agreed to allocate 9.6 million hryvnias of subvention for the purchase of 415 drones of various modifications, as well as means of communication and night vision devices for the needs of the military.
Recently, deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council supported the idea of increasing by 500 million hryvnias the funding of the military aid program «Supporting the defense and mobilization readiness of the city of Mykolaiv for 2021-2024».
