The paratroopers of the Mykolaiv's 79th separate airborne assault Tavria brigade showed another repulse of an unsuccessful assault on Novomykhailivka by the Russians.

This was reported by the 79th brigade on their Facebook page.

It is noted that 2 hours before the battle near Novomykhailivka, 29 occupiers were eliminated with drone strikes.

«Enemy infantry is mowed down by artillery, and those who manage to survive are taken care of by our drone operators, and there will be no escape from heavenly punishment,» the 79th separate airborne assault brigade said.

Recall that the anti-tank gunner of the Mykolaiv's 79th separate airborne assault brigade destroyed four combat armored vehicles in one battle, thwarting the attack of Russian soldiers.

On January 21, Russian forces once again shelled Ochakiv.

It is worth mentioning that the occupiers shell the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities almost daily from the territory of the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit. Earlier, the head of the RMA, Vitaliy Kim, stated that the shelling of Ochakiv by the Russian army has no military purpose, the occupiers shoot to intimidate the locals.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion from Ochakiv, approximately 8,000 residents have left the city. At the same time, according to preliminary calculations by the Ukrainian authorities, about 200 people live on the occupied Kinburn spit, but communication with them has been completely lost.

Earlier, residents of Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region shared with journalists how they have been living under constant shelling for over 500 days.

In April, «NikVesti» visited Ochakiv and showed in a photo reportage what the most dangerous point of the Mykolaiv region looks like.
