On June 29, a landslide occurred at the «Renaissance» mine in the village of Mezhyrchchia, Chervonohrad district.

This was announced by the head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi.

According to the head of the RMA, the soil collapsed at a depth of more than 500 meters. There may be two miners under the rubble.

«On June 29, at 1:20 p.m. at the «Renaissance» mine of the Lvivvuhillia SE, at the junction of assembly chamber 174 with conveyor line 174 of the «Sokalskyi» layer, under the influence of mining pressure, the roof rocks collapsed,» the message reads.

They said that two miners died as a result of the collapse.
