Russia targeted Okhmadyt with an Kh-101 cruise missile

The investigators established that the Russians hit Okhmatdyt in Kyiv with an X-101 missile.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

The law enforcement officers qualified the attack of the Russian Federation on the National Children's Specialized Hospital «Okhmatdyt» as a war crime and opened criminal proceedings based on this fact.

«According to the preliminary data of the investigators of the Security Service, the occupiers used the Kh-101 strategic cruise missile to fire damage to the medical facility. «Relevant evidence has already been found at the scene of the tragedy: in particular, fragments of the hull of the rear part of the X-101 rocket with a serial number and part of the rudder of the same rocket,» the message reads.

As of 1:50 p.m., two hospital workers are known to have died, seven people were injured, including at least two children.

As part of the criminal proceedings initiated by the Security Service, part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder), the investigation is ongoing.

Note that the Kh-101 is a strategic air-to-ground cruise missile. The launch range of such a missile is about 5 thousand kilometers.
