«Because of this, the FSB noticed him and recruited him in June of this year. He personally wrote and sent to the curator an application to join the ranks of the FSS,» the SBU added.

According to the law enforcement officers, the suspect collected information about the location of the deployment points of individual units of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and military educational institutions in Odesa.

«In order to discover the geolocations of Ukrainian troops, the traitor drove around the city and its surroundings in his own car, where he secretly photographed the objects he needed. He transferred the information he received to his curator from the Russian Federation through an anonymous chat in the messenger. He received money for his «work», the report says.

During the search of the detainee's residence, two mobile phones were found. Investigators of the Security Service informed him of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). The perpetrator is in custody. He faces life imprisonment.

We will remind that three girls aged 19 to 23 were detained in Odesa on suspicion of coordinating Russian strikes.
