A project for a new municipal cemetery is to be drawn up in Pivdennoukrainsk for ₴417,000

In Pivdennoukrainsk, there are plans to spend 416,700 hryvnias on drawing up a detailed development plan for the construction of a new municipal cemetery. The relevant tender was announced by the city council’s executive committee.

This is according to data from the Prozorro public procurement system, as reported by NikVesti.

The contractor must prepare a detailed site plan outside the built-up areas of the Pivdennoukrainsk community by 15 December 2026. The work also includes a topographical and geodetic survey of the area.

According to the technical specifications, the designers must define the layout of the future cemetery, develop the transport and engineering infrastructure, plan the landscaping and greening of the site, establish sanitary protection zones, and design separate sections for military burials. The approximate area of the site is 20 hectares.

In addition, the documentation must include a strategic environmental assessment, a section on land use planning, civil protection engineering and technical measures, and provide for a change in the designated use of one plot of land owned by the local authority.

Proposals from potential tenderers are currently being accepted, after which the contracting authority will select the contractor.

As a reminder, 105.8 million hryvnias are required for the construction of two memorial complexes in Mykolaiv to honour fallen defenders. The first memorial complex is planned to be built on the site of the Central City Cemetery on Kherson Highway in the Inhulskyi district.
