The Mykolaiv City Hall expands the Department of Architectural Control to inspect buildings damaged by shelling in Mykolaiv

The Department of Architectural and Construction Control of the Mykolaiv City Council plans to increase the number of employees in order to inspect objects damaged by Russia's armed aggression.

This became known on Wednesday, October 18, during a meeting of the Commission on the issue of publicity, «NikVesti» writes.

According to Yuliia Ivanovska, a representative of the legal department of the state architectural and construction control, the positions of the first deputy head of the department and the deputy head of the department are planned to be added to the management position.

— Currently, in addition to performing its main tasks and functions, the Department of State Architectural and Building Control of the Mykolaiv City Council performs a significant amount of work related to the commission inspection of objects damaged as a result of Russia's armed aggression, and processes acts drawn up under the results of such an examination. In particular, in connection with this, the full-time number of management employees was increased, therefore, as of now, it is necessary to introduce the positions of the first deputy head of the department and the deputy head of the department into the management structure, — she said.

She also added that the second reason for making changes to the regulation is the approval of a new management structure of the state architectural and construction control, which includes a legal department, whose officials will be authorized to represent the management in courts.

The members of the commission agreed on the changes «On the approval of the Regulations on the executive bodies of the Mykolaiv City Council» and brought this issue to the session for consideration.

We will remind that the administration of the Central district of the Mykolaiv city council ordered services for the inspection of buildings damaged as a result of military operations.

It is known that in the next few weeks, the residents of the dilapidated building on Admiralska Street, 32, will receive the results of the technical inspection. They are waiting for positive results, which will give the Mykolaiv housing and communal services department the opportunity to install a temporary shelter over the building.

Earlier, the mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych announced that representatives of Mykolaiv authorities are trying to increase the maximum amount of compensation for war-damaged housing for citizens under the «eVidnovlennia» program.
