Stepove village council wants to take the sports complex and cultural center into the ownership of the community — they will seek funds for repairs from donors

The Stepove village council plans to take over the sports complex and the cultural center, which still belong to the Stepove state enterprise, as communal property.

Viktor Fedyuk, the secretary of the Stepove village council, said this in a comment to NikVesti.

However, noting the significant size and the need for serious repair of these structures, Viktor Fediuk stated the need to attract additional funds to implement the plans.

— To restore these objects, we need significant investment, and here we count on the support of the community, donors and charitable organizations, because we will not be able to repair them ourselves, noted the secretary.

He also added that in the event that the objects become the property of the community, in the next year it is planned to allocate funds from the local budget for the development of design and estimate documentation, necessary for attracting potential donors.

— We want to take the sports complex and the cultural center from the State Enterprise «Stepove» into the communal property of the Stepove Village Council, so that we can repair them. But this requires a lot of money, so we will be looking for donors or charitable organizations. Next year, we plan to allocate funds from the local budget for the production of design and estimate documentation so that we can attract donors who can help us rebuild these premises, Viktor Fediuk summarized.

We remind that on October 18, 2023, the Russians used ballistic weapons to attack the settlement of the Stepove community. The hit was recorded at a catering establishment in the village of Stepove. One person died under the rubble, and another was injured. 5 infrastructure facilities of the communal ownership of the community, 9 infrastructure facilities of the state-owned State Enterprise Plemreproduktor «Stepove» and 75 private residential buildings were damaged.
