The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, condemned the Russian missile attack on Odesa, which took place on November 18. Currently, eight people are known to have died.
«Ballistic strike by Russian terrorists on Odesa, on a residential area. Arrival at the parking lot. An apartment building, a university, and an administration building were damaged. As of now, it is known about 8 dead people. My condolences to the families and loved ones. Almost two dozen more people were injured,» Zelenskyy noted.
The President emphasized that all the necessary services have already been involved in providing assistance to the victims.
He also urged the world community to heed this signal, from international summits such as the Group of Twenty to every capital of the world.
«These are not random strikes — they are indicative strikes. After the calls and meetings with Putin, after all the false gossip in the media about the alleged «abstention» from strikes. Russia shows what it is really interested in: only war. And this signal should be heard in all parts of the world, from the halls where the members of the «Group of Twenty» meet to all the capitals of the world,» the president is confident.
Earlier it was reported that since the morning of November 17, Russian troops attacked Odesa. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, and a 17-year-old boy was also injured. Currently, there are interruptions in the supply of heat, water and electricity in the region.
