Kopytin appeals to Prime Minister over delays in payment of salaries at plant «Zoria» in Mykolaiv

People's deputy of Ukraine Ihor Kopytin addressed the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko regarding the late payment of salaries to employees of the defence enterprise «Zoria»-«Mashproekt» in Mykolaiv. He asks for information about the reasons for the delays, as well as the results of the inspections conducted into the situation.

This is stated in the Kopytin's appeal of 23 December. Ihor Kopytin sent similar letters to the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the director of JSC «Ukrainian Defence Industry» Herman Smetanin.

According to the people's deputy, he has recently received numerous appeals from the plant's employees who complain about long delays in salaries. In this regard, Ihor Kopytin asks for information on the status of payments of salaries and other mandatory payments, as well as to explain the reasons for the plant's failure to fulfil its obligations to its employees.

In addition, Kopytin asks to be informed about the results or planned audits of the State Audit Service regarding the use of financial resources of the enterprise. He is also interested in whether other inspections were carried out by executive bodies and what measures were taken to remedy the situation.

Earlier, NikVesti talked to the company's employees. It turned out that the employees of the «Zoria»-«Mashproekt» plant in Mykolaiv, which is part of the «Ukroboronprom» concern, have not been paid for two months.
