The Russian night attack on 20 January cost Ukraine approximately €80 million. This is only the cost of the air defence missiles used to repel the strike.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in comments to journalists, according to hromadske.

«We are receiving appropriate aid packages. For example, today's Russian attack cost us — in terms of the cost of missiles alone — about €80 million. Imagine that amount. Every day, we do everything we can to have the necessary missiles and protection for people. We insist on ending the war as soon as possible, because first and foremost we are losing people, and also because it is extremely difficult to find these missiles and the funds to pay for them. For Russia, war is an expensive luxury, but for us it is a huge loss,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasised.
