Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Intelligence, People's Deputy from the «Servant of the People» faction, Fedir Venislavskyi, said that the Cabinet of Ministers should soon approve a resolution on the reservation of the mobilization of police officers and employees of the State Emergency Service.

He said this on Radio Svoboda on June 2.

«Just like the police, the rescuers must be 100% booked. And these are the competences and responsibilities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. I think that rescuers, from the point of view of legislative regulation and from the point of view of the tasks they perform, ensure the functioning of the state and the rescue of people. Therefore, I do not think that there will be any attempts to mobilize them,» said Fedir Venislavskyi.

He also added that in the event of the issue of removing reservations from police officers and rescuers, it can be discussed in the committee, however, according to him, «the general concept of national security and defense covers the activities and provision of law and order and security of Ukrainian citizens, which is provided by the relevant services «, so people of these professions should be reserved.

We will remind, at the meeting of January 16, the Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the reservation procedure for the mobilization of conscripted workers of enterprises of the defense-industrial complex.

Earlier, the Ministry of Culture explained the reservation of culture and media workers from mobilization. The Directorate of Traveling Circuses and the Media are important to national security.
