Denmark will provide more than ₴150 million for the restoration of houses in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, they plan to reconstruct residential buildings damaged by Russian shelling in the Korabelnyi district. Denmark undertook to finance these works.

Mykolaiv City Council is the initiator and executor of this project. It provides for the restoration of 29 residential buildings:

• 27 — on Okeanivska street, these are the following addresses: 30a Okeanivska street, 28 Okeanivska street, 40b Okeanivska street, 54 Okeanivska street, 62 Okeanivska street, 36 Okeanivska street, 40a Okeanivska street, 52 Okeanivska street, 64 Okeanivska street, 26 Okeanivska street, 62a Okeanivska street, 38 Okeanivska street, 32 Okeanivska street, 60 Okeanivska street, 46 Okeanivska street, 50 Okeanivska street, 34 Okeanivska street, 58a Okeanivska street, 56a Okeanivska street, 40b Okeanivska street, 56 Okeanivska street, 48 Okeanivska street, 32a Okeanivska street, 58 Okeanivska street, 30 Okeanivska street, 32b Okeanivska street, 60a Okeanivska street;

In general, the reconstruction project of part of the Korabelnyi District includes the following stages:

Damage assessment. This is the first step in which specialists must conduct an analysis of structural damage to buildings, infrastructure and other systems.

Planning. This is the development of a reconstruction plan, taking into account the needs of the residents of the neighborhood, modern safety standards and efficient use of space.

Restoration of infrastructure. It is about the restoration and modernization of communication networks (water supply, sewerage, electricity networks), roads and other necessary infrastructure facilities.

Construction and renovation of residential buildings. This includes the restoration of damaged buildings and the construction of new ones, taking into account modern construction technologies and energy efficiency.

Security and protection. This is the consideration of safety aspects in planning and construction, including fire safety systems and other measures.

It was also reported earlier that almost 10 million hryvnias are planned to be spent on the restoration of damaged residential buildings in the Lisky microdistrict. Denmark undertook to finance these works.
