The Korabelnyi District is an administrative-territorial unit of the city of Mykolaiv, located on the left bank of the Bug Estuary. Established in 1973, it includes the territories of the former city of Zhovtneve, historic Bohoyavlensk, and Vitovka. The district covers an area of 60.6 km² with a population of approximately 79,300 residents. Its administrative center is located at Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue, 314. The district features neighborhoods such as Shyroka Balka, Vitovka, Balabanivka, and Kulbakine. Known for its shipbuilding and industrial facilities, the district suffered significant damage from shelling during the Russia-Ukraine war, but efforts for recovery and development are ongoing.
