₴7 million will be invested in the restoration of the Mykolaiv Gymnasium №48 next year, expecting to receive 2% of the facility's readiness

400 million hryvnias are needed for the reconstruction of the destroyed building of gymnasium №48 in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv. This amount includes the development of the project, its examination and construction works.

This is evidenced by the materials for the draft budget of Mykolaiv for 2025, reports NikVesti.

The gymnasium is planned to be rebuilt by 2026. And in the city budget for the next year, they plan to lay down 7 million hryvnias for this project, expecting to receive 2% of the object's readiness.

Mykolaiv Gymnasium №48 was once the largest school in Korabelnyi district, where about a thousand children studied. But in the summer of 2022, part of the educational institution was destroyed due to the impact of three rockets. It was originally planned to be conserved until the end of the war, but then they decided to demolish part of the damaged buildings.

Later, it became known that the architectural concept for the restoration of school №48 destroyed by Russian shelling will be developed by the Sweetanok Charitable Foundation.

The reconstruction of gymnasium №48 was also added to the economic and social development program of Mykolaiv for 2024-2026.
