The Executive Committee of Mykolaiv raised heating tariffs: the changes will not yet affect the citizens

The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council approved new tariffs for the city's heat-generating facilities. The cost of heating for citizens remains unchanged.

The relevant decisions were approved at the meeting on October 25.

Tariffs for consumers of Mykolayivoblteploenerho OCP.

The tariff for budgetary organizations for the heating period of 2023-2024 in single-rate terms will amount to — 4337.75 hryvnias including VAT (an increase of 10.05%), for religious organizations — 4420.86 hryvnias including VAT (an increase of 9.07%) and for other consumers ( except for the population) — 4398.07 hryvnias with VAT (a decrease of 39.86%).

On Population Day, a new tariff of 2,956.88 hryvnias was set, but it will not be changed during martial law. In the current heating season, citizens will pay 1,999.08 hryvnias.

Tariffs for consumers of PJSC «Mykolaiv CHP».

The tariff for budget organizations for the heating period of 2023-2024 in single-rate terms is 4,211.93 hryvnias. For the needs of religious organizations — 3,674.88 hryvnias. For the needs of other consumers (except the population) — 6,019.08 hryvnias.

A tariff of 2,985.92 hryvnias has been established for the population . However, during the period of martial law, consumers will pay 1,873.39 hryvnias.

Tariffs for consumers of SE «RPCGTC «Zorya»-«Mashproekt»

A new tariff was established for the needs of budget institutions — 4,554.78 hryvnias. For the needs of other consumers — 4,417.44 hryvnias.

A tariff of UAH 2,514.42 /Gcal has been established for the needs of the population, but during the period of martial law, the tariff is UAH 2,139.66.

Tariffs for consumers of «NYKTEPLOINVEST» LLC.

The thermal energy tariff for this enterprise is set at 3,089.43 hryvnias.

We will remind you that in August 2022, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed a law prohibiting the increase of tariffs for heat and hot water until the end of martial law and six months after.

It was also reported that Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych during a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the issue of allocating compensation from the state budget to pay off the difference in tariffs for the city's heat supply enterprises.

As you know, Mykolaivoblteploenerho will start the heating season with debts. The company owes Naftohaz 450 million hryvnias. At the same time, KP still has not received 455 million hryvnias of compensation from the state budget for the difference between the economically justified and the current heating tariff.

We will remind you that as of February 2023, the state owed Mykolaivvoblteploenergo ₴240 million for the difference in tariffs.

In July 2023, Mykolaiv heat supply enterprises were forced to turn to the Cabinet of Ministers due to the need to allocate more than 500 million hryvnias to repay the debt between the approved and economically justified tariff.

It was also reported that as of the end of June, the people of Mykolaiv owed more than 261 million hryvnias to Mykolaivvoblteploenerho. Of them, more than 88 million is the debt of the previous heating period, the remaining 172 million hryvnias is the debt of previous years.
