As of the beginning of September 2024, Russian troops destroyed or damaged 1,658 medical facilities in Ukraine, while 889 such facilities have been fully or partially restored to date.

The largest number of restored medical facilities is in the Mykolaiv region, reports the Government portal.

It is noted that the greatest losses were incurred by medical facilities in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. At the same time, it is impossible to obtain complete information about the degree of destruction of medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territories.

The Russians also damaged 198 ambulances, destroyed 261 and seized 125 ambulances.

As of today, it was possible to fully restore 535 medical facilities and another 354 — partially. Most of the facilities were restored in the Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. We are talking about hospitals in territories liberated from occupation, as well as institutions that suffered minor damage: broken windows, destruction of the roof, damage to the facade, etc.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council promised that the Children's House will work, but as part of the hospital.

We will remind you that the deputiesreorganized 7 hospitals of the Mykolaiv region — this should help «protect» them from lack of funding.

A year ago, the trauma department of the Mykolaiv Emergency Hospital, restored after the Russian shelling, was opened in Mykolaiv.

Also, in September of last year, it was reported that the building of the Bashtan hospital destroyed by the Russian attack will be rebuilt for 139 million hryvnias.
