In the Mykolaiv Hospital №1, an updated X-ray room was opened, where modern equipment was installed and comfortable conditions were created for doctors and patients.

As the Mykolaiv City Council reports, now citizens can get high-quality pictures in a short time, because the procedure lasts a few minutes.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych inspected the new X-ray room and said that this project was implemented thanks to the combined efforts of the city authorities and the state.

«Funds were allocated from the local budget to repair the premises. And the state bought a modern X-ray machine,» Oleksandr Sienkevych said.

The director of the hospital, Mariia Hrachova, added that the medical office meets all standards, in particular, standards of accessibility.

«In this X-ray room, access is ensured for people with disabilities, they can get here and have an X-ray examination without any obstacles,» she said.

Mariia Hrachova also emphasized that the X-ray machine is digital and one of the best, and the entire system is automated. He does all x-rays, including bone, lung, abdominal and skull scans. The picture appears immediately on the monitor and can be printed or saved to digital media. If necessary, the picture will be sent to the patient's smartphone.

Oleksandr Sienkevych noted that this year another important project is being implemented on the territory of the hospital. They plan to renovate the premises where the diagnostic center will be located.

The X-ray room is open every day from 08:00 to 16:00. Examinations are carried out free of charge on the referral of a family doctor.

As a reminder, medical institutions in the Mykolaiv region will receive part of the 300 modern anesthesia and breathing apparatuses that the Ministry of Health of Ukraine purchased as part of the project with the World Bank.
